Residencies

Winter Writing Residency Award: An opportunity to win a one-week residency between January and April 2018.

Standard Residency: Applications are accepted on a rolling basis for all disciplines. There is a fee for self-catering accommodation, but workspace is always at no cost to the artist.

Questions? We’re happy to speak with you before you submit your application.

If you will be performing or exhibiting in Ireland, we’d love to become familiar with your work.

Work-X
We have a very limited number of work exchange places for early-career artists and arts-administrators who would like to contribute to the development  of and day to day running of the residency, or who can offer assistance with the maintenance of the house and grounds. Work is based on the skills you have to offer or wish to improve. In exchange, Work-X participants receive a private room and evening meals. When possible, participants would have access to studios and time to create.  There is a two-week minimum commitment.

Internships
We are happy to host internships and can work with individuals to fulfil their program requirements. Interns work closely with the Creative Director and can include marketing, administration, art space management, and event planning. Through our close relationship with Midleton Arts Festival participants can gain festival planning experience, too.

Workshops
Our studios are available to host workshops requiring on-site accommodation. We can host teachers leading art, yoga, pilates, and music retreats. We are interested in offerings for the local community, professionals and pre-professional training opportunities for ages 18+ at this time.

Note: We are committed to delivering a service that is accessible to artists, and hope to offer fully-funded residency programs as we grow. We plan to introduce opportunities for parents, but the current programs are for adults only. We regret that we are not yet able to accommodate individuals with  mobility disabilities as bedrooms and studios are on the first and second floors (2nd/3rd floors US).
